South West Bushfire Appeal

On Saturday Groove For Good came alive at the Hamilton Botanic Gardens. The South West Bushfire Appeal Concert kicked off at 5.

There was a fantastic community turn-out and the crowd got around, Ben Starkie who was first act of the night, Phil, Jase + Jalen, followed by the Hamilton & District Pipes and Drums Band led into the later hours of the night when Debi Doheny & John Healy and then finally The Settlement played.

The children enjoyed getting their face painted, the jumping castle, and meeting the CFA mascot- Captain Koala.

All proceeds from the night were donated to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal, local wildlife shelters and WIRES.

Adrian Calvano says so far the raffel tickets and acution items have raised approximatly $8,000.

Other funds raised are still being tallied up.
