Club Umpire suspended

A club umpire from the Mininera and District Football Netball League has been banned from his team's matches for more than a year after pushing a junior player during a fiery contest.

Moyston-Willaura goal umpire Barcley Vincent pleaded guilty to a misconduct charge from Saturday's Mininera and District Football League final round under 16.5 match against Hawkesdale-Macarthur.

Vincent had apologised for pushing the player, which happened at half-time following some over the top niggle from players of both teams.

On top of the ban, the club was also issued a $500 fine.

Held at AFL Western District's headquarters in Warrnambool, another case from the Mininera was also heard.

Lismore-Derrinallum full-forward Riley Browne was handed a four-match ban for striking, pleading guilty to striking Penshurst's Jason McIntosh during their clash on Saturday.

Two of the matches have been suspended for the next three seasons in the Mininera
